Know which version you are viewing
Launch separates the editable draft from its published snapshot. This lets you improve a page without making each unfinished edit public.
Use the draft preview to review current work. Use the public URL to inspect what visitors can actually see. These can legitimately differ until you publish again.
Review the draft
- Open the page in the selected website.
- Save the current changes.
- Check desktop, tablet and mobile previews.
- Read headings and body text for accuracy.
- Inspect images, navigation and calls to action.
- Test supported interactions in the preview.
- Publish when the whole change is ready.
A narrow-screen check is especially useful for long headings, multi-column sections and navigation. Do not assume a desktop layout will simply shrink without problems.
Make focused requests to Leo
Describe the actual issue and the desired result. For example: “Reduce the mobile hero height and keep the primary action visible after the heading.” Review the proposal before applying it.
Keep a copy of important approved wording in the appropriate Brain record or brief. Page refinement should not become a source of new unsupported product claims.
Duplicate or restore carefully
Duplicate page creates an unpublished copy with a new public key. Use it to explore a variation without overwriting the original page.
Restore published version replaces the draft after confirmation. Review what will be replaced, especially if another colleague is editing. Stale revision checks protect against overwriting newer work; reload and compare rather than forcing an outdated save.
After republishing, open the public destination again. A successful draft preview is only one part of release review; the actual published page, domain and integrations should also be checked.
