Give each image a purpose
An article image should explain or support the nearby content. Decide whether it is a product reference, an editorial scene or a visual explanation before generating it.
Open the article’s image settings and review the shared brand direction. Add item-specific instructions where needed. Keep the image request consistent with the saved draft and brief.
Use product references
Quill can match active catalogue products using names, model numbers, identifiers and explicit aliases. A selected product can supply up to three readable gallery files, with the primary image first, for supported image generation.
- Confirm that the right product record is active in Brain.
- Check its gallery for accurate, readable images.
- Select or review the matched product in the article image workflow.
- Describe the scene and relevant section.
- Generate the image.
- Inspect the result before choosing it for the article.
Closely related variants need particular attention. A kit, accessory and main device are not interchangeable simply because they share a model family.
What to inspect
Check the product’s shape, controls, markings, colours and proportions. Look for distorted text, implausible connections or background details that imply unsupported use.
Visual references improve grounding but do not guarantee an exact reproduction. If the image is inaccurate, refine the direction or choose a different appropriate visual. Do not solve an unavailable gallery by asking the model to invent a recognisable commercial product.
When generation is blocked
The interface can disable a gallery selection when its files are missing or unreadable. Repair the gallery or choose another valid reference. Existing visuals should remain available when a new request fails.
Saving shared image settings does not automatically replace saved article images. Review and regenerate individual images deliberately, then rerun any relevant content or publishing checks.
