A planned date is not an approved schedule
A post can appear on a calendar before its content or destination is ready. Planning records an intended date. Scheduling requires the applicable content, QA, approval, permissions and connection checks.
Use the selected website’s timezone as the reference. Review its saved timezone before choosing a local publishing time, especially when colleagues work in different countries.
Complete the preparation
- Open the post and review every selected platform variation.
- Confirm the image is appropriate and meets the workflow requirements.
- Select the correct website-linked destinations.
- Save and run Maya QA.
- Resolve the required findings.
- Approve with an authorised account.
- Choose the future date and time, or use the campaign’s supported auto-schedule behaviour.
Instagram needs an image. A linked article promotion also needs its source and public link to be ready before delivery.
Respect generation windows
A package can limit how far ahead content is generated. This is separate from how far ahead you can plan. Copy, images and campaign batches use the applicable window, and workers recheck the conditions before contacting a provider.
If an action is blocked, read the displayed reason. Missing content, stale QA, an expired connection and an unavailable generation window are different problems and require different fixes.
After changes
Editing approved content or changing source information can invalidate the previous review. Reopen the post, inspect the latest version and complete the required stages again.
For an overdue planned post, choose an explicit new time. Do not assume it will publish immediately just because the original date passed. After the scheduled time, inspect the Final stage and actual destination links to confirm what was delivered.
